RI Riptide came out flying, with #11 Ryan Taylor breaking the deadlock just six minutes into the match. But Mexico refused to panic.

In the 20th minute, #20 Hugo Torres leveled the score before #10 Javier Montoya completed a lightning-fast turnaround just two minutes later. The second half turned into an end-to-end battle with both teams creating dangerous chances, but Montoya put the game to bed in the 82nd minute, grabbing his second goal of the day to secure a commanding 3-1 victory for Mexico.

🐯 Tigre Futebol Clube VS São Nicolau

📍 Martin Middle School, East Providence, RI

This one was a true tactical battle.

Both defenses stood firm until a costly mistake allowed #7 Humberto Vieira to capitalize and put Tigre ahead in the 16th minute. São Nicolau pushed hard for an equalizer, but Tigre remained organized at the back. Just before halftime, #10 Saint Clair Soares doubled the advantage, and Tigre expertly managed the game to earn a well-deserved 2-0 clean sheet victory.

📍 Bliss Field, Rehoboth Youth Soccer, MA

Two familiar rivals met in another intense showdown.

After a fast-paced opening, Intelegencia FC took advantage of a defensive error when #15 Miguel Fortes buried the winner in the 15th minute. Academica threw everything forward searching for an equalizer, but Intelegencia's disciplined defense held strong to claim another valuable three points.

💪 PCFC Renegades VS Cranston Portuguese Club

The Renegades wasted absolutely no time making a statement.

#13 Keith Heyward opened the scoring before #6 Jan Grablewski doubled the lead just 17 minutes later. #11 Bryce Dubois added a third in the 25th minute, and from there the Renegades completely shut down the match, earning an impressive 3-0 victory and a clean sheet.

🔥 Santo Antão United VS CRCP Warren Soccer Club

📍 Kickemuit Middle School, Warren, RI

This was truly a game of two halves.

CRCP Warren looked in control after #5 Paulo Dutra gave them a first-half lead in the 27th minute.

But Santo Antão United came out after the break with a completely different mentality.

#7 Jose Spencer equalized in the 50th minute before #12 Filomeno Correia stole the spotlight with two second-half goals to complete an outstanding comeback and secure a 3-1 victory.

👑 Morabeza SC VS Real Colombia

📍 Milot Field, Rehoboth, MA

The reigning champions reminded everyone why they're still the team to beat.

#7 Manny Firmino struck early in the 8th minute, but Real Colombia answered through #18 Fabricio Ferreira to level the match. Both sides battled relentlessly until #13 Varlindo Estrela broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute.

With Real Colombia chasing the game, Morabeza took complete control. #8 Walter Ramos extended the lead before Estrela added his second goal of the afternoon to complete an emphatic 4-1 victory.
